Thanks for joining me on this adventure from the very start! __There shall always be a scent free version.__ # Test Batch #001 ## Recipe ![[Canola Oil Test Batch Control.pdf]] **Recipe Date: April 22, 2024** **Objective:** Find a solid base recipe with no additives to establish a good foundation for future developments. **Observations:** - **April 23, 2024 (12 hours post-pouring):** Soap is still very soft, resembling jello without elasticity. - **April 24, 2024:** Demolded the half loaf. The edges and corners were slightly squished, indicating it might have been better to wait another day before demolding. The soap, however, holds its shape and feels nice to the touch. - Apr-25-2024: Demolded the full loaf, much better compared to 24hrs ago with the half loaf. Still quite soft however - Apr-26-2024: was able to cut the loafs, however I should have waited longer. # Test Batch #002 Testing ![[Canola Oil Soap Test Batch 02.pdf]] **Objective:** Find a solid base recipe with no additives to establish a good foundation for future developments. Apr-25-2024: Still too soft to demold, however I think it should be ready in 12-24 hours Apr-26-2024: Demolded. Should have waited longer. Was very soft. May-19-2025 People really like this one. May-2-2024: This recipe is coming along nicely, I've made a few batches of this and each time it's wonderful and able to demold and cut within 24hrs of pouring.
